Round Three of County hurling championship gets underway this evening

Starting with Gaa news and the county senior hurling championship gets underway this evening with Ballyea taking on Crusheen at 7pm in Cusack Park.

Both sides require the win for different reasons with Ballyea needing two points to reignite their championship challenge while Crusheen could almost guarantee their passage to the q-finals with a second successive victory

Meanwhile there are 5 senior games down for decison on Saturday with Kilmaley  and Clooney Quinn one of the ties of the weekend.

O Callaghans Mills are another side who are also hoping to step up their championship ambitions this weekend when they take on former champions Tulla in the 5-30 throw in in Cusack Park tomorrow.

Tulla have recently been involved in a relegation dogfight in Divison one of the Clasre cup while the Mills lost narrowly to Newmarket in their oepning fixtture.
