Connacht Chief Exec Tom Sears says the transfer of Mike McCarthy to Leinster will not benefit Irish rugby in the longer term.
The province are unhappy at what they call the ‘persistent targeting’ of their players by Leinster.
Sears says he can’t see how the movement of the best players away from Connacht will help our national team.
