Setback to start of Clare Camogie All Ireland Campaign
Clare suffered a 3 point defeat at the hands of Tipperary in Sixmilebridge yesterday evening on a scoreline of Tipperary 1-10 – Clare 1-07.
Tip dominated the first half with Clare’s Captain Chloe Morey scoring the banner’s only 3 points from placed balls leaving it 1-8 to 3 points at half time.
Clare then came out stronger in the second half .Sinead Touhy gave the side a dream start with a goal in the first minute, but Clare’s next score didn’t come until the 18th minute with a point from Susan Fahy. 3 more placed balls from Chloe Morey totalled Clare’s tally .
It finished in Sixmilebridge Tipperary 1 -10 Clare 1- 07.
