St Joseph’s Tulla Manager Says Facing Kingpin Was A Big Ask

St Joseph’s Tulla’s trailblazing year has been brought to a close just shy of the All Ireland Championship final.

The East Clare side had hoped to continue collecting silverware after winning their first Harty Cup this year, but faced difficult opposition in the form of 23 time All Ireland Champions St Kieran’s College of Kilkenny who stood in their way.

Undaunted by the challenge, St Joseph’s kept their opponents within four points at half time, but a volley of goals from Kieran’s proved too strong an attack to recover from.

Full time score in that one was St Kieran’s 3-16, St Joseph’s 1-11.
