Strong Clare Involvement In 2024/5 TUS Munster PPS Competitions

Three Clare teams will once again compete in the premier competition for post primary schools hurling this year.

Rice College have been drawn in Group One of the TUS Dr Harty Cup alongside John The Baptist, Hospital, CBC Cork, and Scoil Na Troinoide Naofa, Doon

There will once again be plenty Clare interest in Ard Scoil Ris, who face Castletroy College, Our Ladys Templemore, and Colaiste Choilm

St Joseph’s Tulla will be bidding to regain their title when they start out against Charleville CBS, Cashel Community School and Blackwater Community School in Group 3

St Flannan’s are in three team Group 6, alongside Thurles CBS and Tralee CBS

St Flannan’s are again Clare’s sole representative in the Corn uí Mhuiri, where they face St. Brendans, Colaiste Choilm and St. Francis College Rochestown in the group stages.

The Under 19 A, B and C Hurling competitions are scheduled to begin on Wednesday October 16th while the TUS Corn Uí Mhuirí – Senior Under 19 A Football competition is scheduled to commence on Wednesday October 23rd. Fixture details will be confirmed in due course.

TUS Dr. Harty Cup – Senior (Under 19) A Hurling (Corn An Artaigh)

A total of 21 schools will take part in the TUS Dr. Harty Cup – Under 19 A Hurling (Corn An Artaigh) competition. Nenagh CBS are the defending champions.

A total of 13 schools will take part in the Corn Thomáis Mhic Cholaim – Under 19 B Hurling competition. Blackwater Community School Lismore are the defending champions.

A total of 20 schools will take part in the Corn Risteard Uí Mhathúna – Under 19 C Hurling competition. Scoil Pól Kilfinane are the defending champions.
