Clare have made full use of home advantage this afternoon with a decisive win over Cork in Cusack Park.

The Banner took an early lead in the National Hurling League Division 1A clash but goals for Cork’s Patrick Horgan and Tommy O’Connell left the two sides just two points apart at half time.

A strong start to the second half saw Brian Lohan’s charges retain their lead with a late Seadna Morey goal leaving no doubt as to who the victors would be.

The final score in Ennis was Clare 1-25 Cork 2-19.
