Two Clare players have been named on Electric Ireland’s Minor Hurling Star Team Of The Year.

Clooney-Quin’s Seán McNamara has been listed at corner-back on the side following a year of impressive displays, which helped the Banner to keep five clean sheets en-route to the All-Ireland Semi-Final.

Dara Kennedy has been recognised for his efforts at wing-back, in a year that saw the Ballyea man strike five points from play while excelling in defence.

Tipperary’s Euan Murray has been named Electric Ireland’s Star Player of the Year.
